ABOUT
Isabel Treidl holds a Master of Science in Applied Psychology from USC, where she received the distinguished Mary L. Tenopyr Award, as well as degrees in Product Design Engineering, Business Administration, and a Marketing certification from UC Berkeley. With over 15 years of cross-sector experience in academia, NGOs, government, and the private sector, Isabel has led global workshops on organizational development and innovation. Her dedication to social impact began in Colombia, where she developed prosthetics for veterans, earning national awards for biomedical research and entrepreneurship. In 2008, she received a scholarship from the Inter-American Development Bank for a cultural mission to China, where she honed her entrepreneurial skills and later founded a biomedical company. She has also consulted with the Colombian government on veteran support initiatives. Isabel has held key leadership roles, including at FIDM, where she significantly enhanced professional development engagement as Chair. Recognized for her contributions, she received the UNA-USA Young Leader of the Year Award. Isabel’s research on creativity and innovation spans both the U.S. and the Middle East, and she has consulted on human trafficking issues, culminating in her presentation at the 43rd session of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva.
A 2022 MIT Leadership and Innovation Bootcamp alumna, Isabel has shared her expertise at prestigious institutions, including NASA and MIT, advancing global understanding in creativity and innovation.
